Who are we ?

The world remembers the first, it admires the bold pioneer who braves a new world. Allen Brown Sr. was a man with a vision. On October 23, 2015 the AmCham community and beneficial insurance community gathered on the premises of the Amcham Cameroon office to dedicate the office space to the late Allen R. Brown Sr. Mr. Brown was the founder of Beneficial Insurance and a pioneer in the insurance industry in Africa.

He had a bright mind. He did not sit on the sidelines bitter with despair but instead, mustered the courage to follow his heart into unchartered territory. The former president Eddie Ford Brown proclaimed that the AmCham during its inauguration would be a beacon of capitalistic possibility. Let AmCham Cameroon be an extension of the late Mr. Brown’s visionary investment. His story of passion, persistence, and patience will continue to inspire.
