Who Can Join?

AmCham Cameroon membership is open to all American firms doing business in Cameroon. However, all firms, corporations and citizens in good standing interested in the chamber’s objectives are also welcome to be members.

Five Reasons to Become a Member

1. B2B Networking: Increasing Your Visibility in the Community

AmCham Cameroon hosts several networking events, conferences, seminars, luncheon meetings and workshops throughout the year. A terrific networking opportunity, these events are attended by actors at the top level including senior executives, entrepreneurs, and government officials representing diverse sectors in the international market. Members can thus listen to the views of prominent business figures and engage a wide network of connections.

2. Industry Committees: Your Pathway to Promotion and Credibility

We accommodate a range of dynamic industry-specific committees, which focus their work on current challenges in sectors and facilitate the building of reforms. Such committees include “Trade & Investments”“Tax & Legal”, and “Oil & Gas”, manned by members and industry experts. Joining our committees will give you access to first-hand knowledgeability and insight, and is your opportunity to set the pace in our advocacy efforts for the benefit of the business community as a whole.

3. Top Level Advocacy: Your Voice in Government

Have your voice heard at our leadership dialogues feeding into our advocacy agenda while providing an exclusive networking opportunity for senior leaders. In the form of seminars and webinars open to AmCham Cameroon members, join to strengthening our positions on policy issues that affect your investment directly. Besides connecting with key decision-makers of Cameroon’s political landscape, you will join our unified voice to deliver our most favorable reform proposals through whitepapers and high profile meetings.

4. Trade Missions: Join our Delegations to the United States of America

On a yearly basis, a delegation of AmCham Cameroon members visits New York City and Washington, D.C. for meetings with think-tanks, financial institutions and most often, the world’s top franchisors at the International Franchising Expo (IFE), the premier annual event connecting franchisors and franchisees. AmCham trade missions are forums for members to identify unique business opportunities and have led to significant deals that have brought much impact to entrepreneurs at all levels. Oftentimes, a first-time visit to the USA has led entrepreneurs to begin looking at their investment from a different perspective and thinking out of the box.

5. Business Visa Program: Helping You Get There

AmCham will not hesitate to request an expedited visa interview appointment or any expectable facilitations with the U.S. Embassy in order to secure a business visa for a legit traveling member. This service is only available to member companies in good standing and is for B1/B2 non-immigrant visa. Although AmCham Cameroon does not guarantee visa issuance, such facilitation has often saved a great deal of time and the deal itself.
